  • 12 tostada shells
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ lb raw peeled shrimp
  • 2 avocados (mashed)
  • 1/2 small bunch cilantro (minced)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 34 tomatoes (seeded and diced)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 jalapeño pepper (minced)
  • ½ medium red onion (minced)
  • 1/2 small bunch cilantro (minced)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Toss shrimp in the mixture and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mash avocados and mix in cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper to make guacamole.
  3. Prepare pico de gallo by combining diced tomatoes, minced garlic, jalapeño pepper, red onion, and cilantro in a separate bowl.
  4. Grill the marinated shrimp on a preheated grill pan for about 1-2 minutes per side until opaque.
  5. Assemble by topping tostada shells with guacamole followed by grilled shrimp and pico de gallo.
